Inspired by her heritage as an Italian-American, Lofaso opened Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 which was immediately well received. The restaurant's take on traditional Italian is widely praised as one of the top restaurants for Italian food located in Los Angeles. Lofaso serves consistently delicious dishes at Scopa, a neighborhood favorite. Customers describe it as authentic and satisfying. Lofaso trained under some of the best chefs in the world and learned their advanced techniques, but was never scared to challenge her own instincts. Within a few years, Lofaso rose to the highest level of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated with many famous celebrities as she transformed various Los Angeles restaurants. In 2011 Lofaso partnered with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to debut Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso had found home in the Black Market. The creative spirit of Lofaso will be facilitated through this collaboration. Black Market's goal is not to limit itself by any means. A meal could start with potato chips and peppers Dill. Then it's Korean meatballs and wings. What anchors this bold variety of tastes is Antonia. Lofaso's popularity has been measured through her ability to remain honest with herself, while being able to comprehend her audience. Famous performances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showed her unique personality in the cooking area.
