Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter that made her name known on television when she was cast as Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. In episodes of the show the singer-songwriter performed her country debut albums. Her album of the same name was ranked within the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. The last decade saw she appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as various TV programs. There were also some singles which did not appear on albums. It was released in 2021 as the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, grew to love the music of country. Later she would pursue an acting career. But her first role as a actress in the indie horror flick Dead/Undead at the age of 22 when she was an teen. Her appearances were in guest spots for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to appear as Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) as well as Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Then Kramer concentrated her acting career around music and acted in films including Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which was a hit with her fans. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) as well as Steven Tyler's duet with Aerosmith helped the album to get even better reviews which saw it reach the top three position at the top of the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her time in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th place finishing. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song with Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
